Funding FLEP

FLEP has a generous list of donors, providing funds to allow it's vision to be achieved. Currently, funds are donated in the following ways.

From 2000 to present, FLEP has been receiving $83,000 on average per year from the Ministry of Health Government of Uganda through the District Directorates for Health in the five Districts of Jinja, Iganga, Kamuli, Mayuge and Bugiri.

From April 2002 to date, Pathfinder International has been funding an on-going ASRH/YFS project.

From January 2000 to September 2002, $572,000 USAID was received through the John Hopkins University, District Local Government/Poverty Alleviation Fund.

From October 2003 to June 2004, the programme received funds from IZUMI foundation to pilot a home-to-home based strategy to Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT). The lessons learnt from this project have been used to design an improved home-to-home based approach to VCT.
How can I support financially?

Due to the difficult and arduous task of securing funds from interntional organisations and governments, FLEP is always looking for private donors to sustain and improve its work in Uganda.
